McCain says he’ll support Obama budget-cutting
Sen. John McCain says he will support President Barack Obama’s effort to cut federal spending, but that it won’t work unless Obama shows a willingness to veto pork-barrel spending.

Jan. 26 (Bloomberg) — Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke gained more support from U.S. senators for a second term and prepared to work around a two-day policy meeting that starts today to visit lawmakers.
