How do I go about setting up a management solution for a network?
I have done more to do with my chapter in my current class. The next task of this chapter, write a short plan to create a management solution for a network with several servers and over 100 clients. In fact, reread the chapter, and frankly I am bit lost with it. If someone can point me in the right direction or give me some sites that can help me or someone who really starts with the right foot on what I would do would be greatly appreciated. This chapter goes on things like the architecture of network management, management of database management system and network protocols, the OSI network management, network management practices, In-band vs. out – of-band management, SNMP Management Information Base Objects, Remote Monitoring, SNMP agents, installation and configuration of SNMP agents and console, SNMP tools, utilities and file number, and integration and troubleshooting of this SNMP.Con chapter is about, I must be suggesting how to integrate SNMP on my network, or is there more to this than meets the eye. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance to meet it.
