Why is it that the Playstation network can support so many more people online (in game) than Xbox Live?
I owned a 360 since the day it came out and I always thought that XBL was much better than PSN. This was my surprise when I rented Resistance 2 and is capable of supporting 60 people in online games! When XBL can only support 16. . . Is it because XBL can support 60 people in 1 game? Or is it because Microsoft has not decided for some reason? Please answer!

xbox live is far more advance tthen the ps network and i dont think its true that ps network can supoort more people
Xbox live could support the same amount of people if game creators put that option into the software. It’s the games’ fault, not the console. Besides, the more people in a single game creates more problems, glitches, and lag. Plus, XBL has so much better quality of online gaming than PS3.
360 doesnt have the computing power for more players, its proccesors can only handle so much and ps3 uses dedicated servers for each game not 1 server for many like xbox
not every xbox game maxes out at 16. battlefield badcompany supports up to 24 players per game. its up to developers to determine how many ppl per online game. that and the xbox 360s not as powerful as the ps3. hate to say it but there. GT5 FTDUB!!!!!

Wait until “Mag” comes out for PS3. It’s gonna blow Resistance away. But for all the people PS3 can handle in a game online, Xbox has the upper hand in the online section by far. It’s far more easy to use, and has a good number of functions PS3 doesn’t, and I’m talking functions that PS3 should’ve had when it came out. I don’t understand what Sony is thinking. MS is going to kill them if they don’t revamp their interface, and ditch that stupid Home project.
