I have filed for child support in San Diego County. My ex husband, father of my two girls is in the army . . .
It has been four months since I submitted and nothing. What can I do to accelerate this process? What I can do to make sure not to hit any inconvenience and assure me that my girls are getting the care they need? Thank you in advance

Go to Jag….they deal in legal issues with the military. its located on every base. OR you can contact his superior officer and explain what is going on. maybe they could help you….
Where is your ex stationed? He has to be served the papers and in our case the Army made it as hard as possible to do. When my ex was stationed in Korea the state of Florida said they were not allowed to serve him papers in that country.
Good luck. If you already have court ordered support the Army will make sure he pays it. They just set up an allotment deducted from his pay and sent to you.
If he is deployed, you will have to wait until he returns to the US. He’s protected under the Soldiers and Sailors Act.
If he is in the states, go to his CO. They will make sure he pays what he owes.

Call the child support agency and ask them if they have heard anything or is there anything else you can do so that your children can get their support any quicker.
