What does ‘To support shadler model 2′ mean ?
I installed The Sims 3 and went to the press that he had to play and something seemed to say. . . . . Unable to start. Device 0 can not run this title. Your video card does not seem to support at least Shader Model 2. Please update your card. “Please help and explain this!

Your video card is not good enough, OR the video card is good enough, but you don’t have the proper drivers for it.
Check the video card driver version (not sure how you do that) and then go to the manufacturer’s website and get the newest version if you don’t have it already.

that means your laptop can not play the game
Your computers graphics cannot support the game. The graphics card that your computer has is too old.
