Does my video card support shader model 2?
I try to play Empire: Total War, but when I start the game, the screen is completely black except for a cursor. I can still hear the music and move the cursor and I know the game is working, except for graphics. I think perhaps the Shader Model 2. 0 requirement, but do not know if my graphics card as ATI Diamond S9250 PCI 256 soporta.Tengo DDR Can anyone help?

I got Empire: Total war , I saw that it is written optimized for intel i7 core but it didn’t written anything about the graphic card. I run intel i7 920 with 6 GB of ram and ATI 4850. Which is not a gaming card but performs rather well. Even in my machine, the game takes a little longer to load than other game. I download it from Steam along with other demo and Company of heroes. I don’t know what is the exact specification for that game but by the look of it, it will demand heavy hardware support.
Unfortunately it doesnt.. the rest of the line does, but not this budget card.
