does this video card support shader model?

its a dx9 card which means it will do shader models 1, 2 and 3

it will not do 4

there is no ’setup’. if you have directx 9.0c and the latest drivers from ati.com then it should run any dx9 shader model

Yes that card does have shader model and it will be setup automatically when you run the Catalyst CD
beware though cause this card only has shader model 2.0
most games require 3.0
