WWRC Business Information Technology Vocational Training
The Woodrow Wilson Center for Employments on-site training programs offer career pathways leading to employment opportunities in business and information technology fields. Each of these career pathways emphasizes externally validated skills attainment through industry certification requirements and community-based internships with employers as business mentors. All on-site Business and Information Technology career pathways require demonstration of foundation skills (link to core assessment task sheet) common across programs as a prerequisite to full enrollment in a given training curriculum (keyboarding; computer concepts and software applications; customer services; and, study skills). At any point within this career pathway, including core skills, students may test out of specific program requirements and this type of demonstrated mastery would be noted as such on their task sheet. Some career pathways have multiple exit points leading to successful completion of the training program
