Does a PNY Geforce FX5200 graphics card support shader model 3.0?
I want to play games like Red Faction Guerrilla and Bioshock. I have a Dell Dimension E510 and I’m upgrading the accompanying map (raedon X300 128MB). I have only $ 50, however, making it the only one who can pay.

According to Dell, your Dimension E510 has a PCI-Express x16 slot.

With a $50 budget, forget the obsolete GeForce FX5200. Get a Radeon 4650, which is currently the best video card in that price range

Negative, you can’t upgrade shader models they are physical, it has shader model 2.0…. What kind of slot do you have… AGP, PCI, or PCI-E x16? I can help you out if you need it.
