child support and the IRS can do pretty much anything to get money owed to them…if you have evidence you’ve been paying and are current, then i would take that to the child support agency and find out wats up

If they got a lien or fi.fa. properly, then they are allowed to garnish your bank account for the money owed.
Yes they can do that. There is no “warrant” for that type of thing it is called a writ of execution or bank levy. It doesnt matter if you were making the required payments, if there were penalties, and they werent paid up, then unfortunately for you, they can levy your bank account.
